This is the first time I bought a meter, so I have nothing else to compare this against. I bought it also because the test strips were more affordable than some other units I saw at Wal Greens. I bought this and Accu-Chek Aviva Roche 50 Count (Mail Order) amazon here. comL’appareil is easy to use, and measurements are reproducible. There is a kind of “benchmarking”, you must perform each time you open a pack “new” cards. I thought it was a nuisance, but then I can understand why it is necessary (I think it is common for all counters) Overall, I must say I am satisfied with the purchase. Rating: 4 / 5
